Dedicated to Roger Elgin Ward, who always wanted to surf, but was killed in the Vietnam War. It is ironic that since his death Great Lakes surfing has been on the upswing and was the subject of the movie "UnSalted" by Vince Duer, who is also of Grand Haven.
